Rob Thurner is a recognised expert in mobile marketing, mCommerce and CRM. He helps leading retailers, entertainment and other consumer-facing companies adopt new digital platforms, rethink their consumer-engagement models, and improve their marketing and sales performance.
He is Managing Partner of Burn The Sky, the digital consultancy which works with clients to deliver first class customer experiences on smartphones and tablets. His clients include American Express, Avon Cosmetics, Barclays, CVC Capital Partners, Heineken, HSBC, John Lewis, O2, Paddy Power, PwC, Richemont and SkyBet.
Rob designs and delivers in-house and online digital training for clients direct and on behalf of Econsultancy, the IDM and Haymarket.

Following a BSc (Honours) in Politics from Bristol University, Rob began his career as a journalist and then public affairs consultant before joining media start up TDI (now Exterion Media). He moved to Clear Channel International and served as Group Marketing Director for the company's Business Units across 40 countries in EMEA and Asia Pacific before switching to a career in digital.
